The exhibition will display a selection of about 50 works ranging from the 16th century to the 19th belonging to the Borbon-Lorenzana collection. This treasury is one the most important heritage collections in Spain due to the number of volumes, over 100,000 editions from the 11th to the 19th century, and to the quality of its samples.

The exhibitions will focus on Miguel de Cervantes, his biography and his immortal works: La Galatea, Journey to Parnassus, the Comedies and Entremeses, the Exemplary novels, Don Quixote and The Travels of Persiles and Segismunda. A Northern History. Together with these, other editions of the most important writers from the Golden Age of Spanish arts and literature will be displayed. Major playwrights such as Lope de Vega, Tirso de Molina, Rojas Zorrilla or Calderón de la Barca, poets such as Quevedo or Góndora and great novelists such as Baltasar Gracián or Mateo Alemán will be examined using their works.
